As the Pastor of an African Methodist Episcopal Church, I am well aware of the importance of providing a Worship experience that follows a denominationally-relevant order of Worship. In this regard, Cornerstone AME church is committed to maximizing the gifts and talents that the LORD will bring to this branch of Zion and will, in the words of Bishop Frederick Hilborn Talbot, follow the path of flexibility which leads itself to richness and a variety of content, yet at the same time, seeking always to preserve the feeling of at-homeness within our tradition.

Cornerstone will utilize the art of liturgical dance to complement the worship experience, along with diverse variations of sacred choral music that so gracefully complement the African Methodist worship experience.

In closing, I borrow from the words of Randall Arthur, in his book Wisdom Hunter. It is now clear that I know very little. Therefore, I've resolved to open my mind and let the world be my classroom. So that I don't swing to the other extreme and become a philosophical anarchist, I'll let the Bible, objectively interpreted, be the filter that governs what I soak up in my quest for true wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and insight.
